What to expect

For initial appointments at my Brentwood office location, I will meet you in the waiting room and show you to my space. The first session is a time for us to get to know each other, review paperwork and discuss what you are hoping to gain from therapy. It is a time for you to explore whether or not I am a good fit to partner with you on your journey.

Some clients may choose to have their first session at my farm location.  Equine-assisted sessions are held at a private residence and barn, therefore, directions and other information will be provided on an individual basis as appropriate. You may not be interested in horses or being at a farm at all and prefer to have all of your sessions in the office. And that is okay too!

I will collect payment (cash, credit card or check) at the end of each session and we will schedule your next appointment at that time.

The appointment time given is reserved for you and I require at least twenty-four (24) hours notice if you must cancel your reserved time. If you give less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for your session.

As illnesses and emergencies can sometimes prevent you from keeping your reserved time, I do not charge a fee for these infrequent occurrences. In the absence of such circumstances, you will be charged your usual fee for appointments that are not cancelled 24 hours in advance.
